BALD RIVER

The 41 mile mixed-surface Bald River route circles the Bald River Gorge Wilderness east of Tellico Plains, Tennessee. The route starts and finishes on the Cherohala Skyway and includes River Rd through the Tellico River Gorge and 18 miles of primo gravel through pristine federally protected forest.

THE SWINGING BRIDGE

North Georgia's mixed-surface Swinging Bridge routes come 42 and 60 mile versions. Both cross the Tocoa river twice, on an antique non-swinging steel bridge in the quaint town of Aska and again on the cable suspended bridge which really does swing. The 60 mile version adds the infamous climb to Winding Stair Gap. Take a moment to visit the US Fish and Wildlife Service fish hatchery on Rock Creek Rd if you have the time. This is one of the prettiest routes in the state.

LITTLE FROG MOUNTAIN

Paved start and end sectors bookend 38 miles of uninterrupted gravel fun near Reliance, Tennessee. This is classic Appalachian Mountain gravel and includes a 450 foot cable suspended bridge over the Hiawassee River and a place known as Jenkins Grave Gap.

THE PINNACLE ROUTES

Starting in the alpine city of Helen Georgia, metric, fondo and century options all feature iconic paved climbs and gravel ascents to remote mountain peaks. On some days you can literally ride up into the clouds. Over 135 ft/mile climbing make the Pinnacle routes some of the most difficult one day routes in the state of Georgia.
