The 38 mile Emery Creek gravel route takes in all the North Georgia Cohutta Mountains have to offer. Expect a massive climb, a blistering descent, breathtaking vistas, and a fast finish.
North Georgia's mixed-surface Swinging Bridge routes come 42 and 60 mile versions. Both cross the Tocoa river twice, on an antique non-swinging steel bridge in the quaint town of Aska and again on the cable suspended bridge which really does swing. The 60 mile version adds the infamous climb to Winding Stair Gap. Take a moment to visit the US Fish and Wildlife Service fish hatchery on Rock Creek Rd if you have the time. This is one of the prettiest routes in the state.
The Silver Comet Century route utilizes the scenic and car-free Silver Comet Trail for most of its length while gently rolling, low traffic Morgan Valley Road eliminates the trail's one big climb. This could be your first century or your next PR. A variety of trailhead options make this route adaptable to rides of any length.
Starting in the alpine city of Helen Georgia, metric, fondo and century options all feature iconic paved climbs and gravel ascents to remote mountain peaks. On some days you can literally ride up into the clouds. Over 135 ft/mile climbing make the Pinnacle routes some of the most difficult one day routes in the state of Georgia.
